About Us

Golden Acres Farm strives to raise the highest-quality, pasture-raised heritage chicken and pork, right here in Golden, BC. 

We are the Westernmost farrowing farm for Purebred, heritage Berkshire pigs, which are celebrated for their red coloured, marbled meat and for the excellent temperament of the animals themselves. Berkshire pork is considered to be one of the best-tasting in the world. 

Our pigs and chickens are raised on pasture, giving them the ability to forage and explore, while still having access to high-quality feed. While we are not certified organic, we do not use any herbicides and are careful in our selection of feeds.

An important goal of ours is to keep our costs as low as possible for locals, despite raising a world-class product. We deliver straight to your door weekly and are available through some local stores and restaurants.
